We believe in sourcing goods from ethical and fairly trading companies and also support local artists and crafts people as well as supporting british farmers by buying uk wools. We recycle as much all our cardboard and waste paper (some of which gets turned back into paper to be used for my paintings.) We use paper carrier bags and encourage the use of bags for life. At the moment I seem to be knitting everything, from plastic carriers to t-shirts and old clothing, then turning them into bags and baskets, also recycling jumpers into felt to be used in my brooches and making gorgeous bags. Jewellery that doesn't sell or gets damaged is also recycled into reworked jewellery. Listed below are websites we think may be of interest, have similar ethics and a commitment to local business.
