The pink Lampshade book is in fair condition, and is dated 1971. There is also 'snapshots of the Royal family and a free knitting pattern. Dated July 1954 no 3093 and priced at 3 1/2 d. The magazine is in fair condition for its age and has some slight rust marks by the staples. I love the plaid socks 'plaid design for those who like their socks to be gay'. There is also a pattern for chequered socks, and a waistcoat for 'the well dressed man' as well as 'the continental look ', 'the husky outdoor look' and the classic Diamond Pullover :) There really are some brilliant patterns in this book that could be adapted to suit the modern man!
